I've been interested in human health for a long time. My interest has kind of been on and off, but human health has been a strong focus for me for the past 8-9 years. A few years ago, I started exploring nutrition and its effects on human health. I didn't know much about nutrition at the time. Since then I have done tons of research on nutrition, supplements, pharmacology, and human physiology and how they all interact with each other.

I started thinking about nutrition four and a half years ago. I didn't really understand micro or macro nutrients at the time, but I generally understood that whole foods were better for you than heavily processed foods and that there are consequences to consuming too much added sugar. When I started lifting, my interest in nutrition really took off. I started doing tons of research into different diets and their effects, macronutrients, micronutrients (vitamins and minerals), and the importance of balancing minerals. In addition, I started doing research into different supplements.

In early 2022, I started doing a lot of research into the health side of nutrition. I wanted to figure out which foods were best for our health. I went down a few rabbit holes - vegetable oils and their toxicity, the lies about saturated fats, the potential toxicity of added sugars, and the importance of animal products. I ultimately decided that the ideal diet doesn't exist. Health issues related to diet are usually caused by excess calories over a long period of time.

My diet is very different from the diet I would recommend others follow. It's extreme and comes with many health risks. I drink a gallon of milk per day, which is known in the bodybuilding world as GOMAD. I chose that diet because it's a way of getting in the calories I need to gain weight in spite of my lack of appetite. The main health issue is that milk has very high calcium content. Without magnesium supplementation, I develop symptoms of deficiency withing 1-2 months. My current supplement stack includes probiotics, magnesium glycinate, zinc, and melatonin.
